On the occasion of the First Anniversary, the family of the late Ann of Ferry Hill, Popes Quay, who died on 14th September 2020, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Coughlans Funeral Directors, to Joe and all the staff who cared for Mam with loving care we thank you.
To all our neighbours and friends that walked Mam up Shandon Street for her last journey, we thank you.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
The sincerity and respect shown to Ann's memory has been a great comfort.
Thank you.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
The First Anniversary Mass for Ann will be held on Sunday, 12th September, at 12.30pm in St.Mary's Church, Popes Quay, Cork.
