On this the First Anniversary of Mom’s passing, Martin and Rosaleen and extended families thank and acknowledge all those who sympathised with us, sent Mass cards, floral tributes, sympathy cards, posted messages online, phoned and called during our sad loss. Thanks to our beautiful neighbours in Summerstown who lined the road as Mom made her journey to the Church and all those who either attended or watched Anna’s Mass online due to Covid restrictions . Grateful appreciation to Eileen O’Riordan who brought Mom Holy Communion. A special thanks to Fr. John Manley for the personal and beautiful Mass and prayers. Thanks to Fr. Michael O’Leary SMA, to Lorraine and Regina for the lovely singing, and Eddie Fuller, the organist. We are especially grateful to Prof. O’Brien and the Marymount Hospice and palliative home care team, Mary Connolly, public health nurse, Carol home-help for enabling us to care for Mom at home. To Anna’s grandchildren for your exceptional help with Mom’s care during her illness, we are so thankful and proud of you. Thanks to O’Connor’s Undertakers for your professionalism. This has been an exceptionally sad year for us and we are so grateful for our wonderful families friends and neighbours. The Holy Sacrifice of Holy Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Anna’s Anniversary Mass is in the SMA Church, Wilton, at 6pm on 21st May, 2022
Too very dearly loved to ever be forgotten
A little pair of Rosary Beads –
As plain as plain can be.
But only God in heaven knew,
How dear they were to me
I had them always with me
At every step I took.
At evening when I slumbered
At morn when I awoke.
So when the time approached
when I had to die,
My little Rosary Beads
close beside me lie.
That the holy name of Jesus
May be the last I say,
And kissing my sweet Rosary Beads
My soul passed away.
