Acknowledgement and First Anniversary (Died Ocotober 18th 2020)
The mother, brothers, sisters and family of the late Anne Hales of Knocknacurra, Bandon, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, assisted with and attended the wake, service and burial, those who lined the roads, stood in guard of honour and gathered in the church yard and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to the doctors and palliative care staff of Marymount Hospice for your excellent care to Anne during her final weeks.
To Dr Derek Power, Mr Paul Sweeney and the staff of St.Therese’s ward at the Mercy University Hospital and Cork University Hospital Radiotherapy Centre who went above and beyond for Anne.
To Anne’s GPs and the staff at The Weir Clinic and public health nurses for their care and compassion to Anne during her illness.
Thanks to Anne’s work colleagues and friends at NEPS who were a tremendous support to Anne and greatly appreciated.
A sincere thank you to Anne's wonderful friends, for the friendships, support and joy you gave her over the years.
Thank you all those who participated in the Mass service, including her cousins Father Charlie Nyhan and Sister Patricia O’Donovan, and the clergy and gravediggers.
Finally thanks to Gabriel and O’Donovan Undertakers for their kindness, understanding and professionalism through out Anne's funeral.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
