Anthony (Faley) Farrell

 Anthony (Faley) Farrell

Avondale Crescent, Arklow, Wicklow

Faley’s sons Conor & Shaun, sisters Pauline & Marian, brother-in-law Paul & all his family would like to express their most sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support they received at the time of Faley’s sad passing & in the weeks since.

Thanks to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Faley’s funeral service & cremation, to all who sent cards, letters, texts & online messages of condolence & to those who donated generously to Arklow RNLI in Faley’s memory. Equally we thank all those who couldn’t be present but kept Faley, & all of us in their thoughts & prayers.

Special thanks to Faley’s lifelong friends whose presence, thoughts & memories brought so much to his funeral, most especially Ray Jordan who led Faley’s cortège, to the crew of Arklow Lifeboat & the fishermen of Arklow who joined us riverside to see him off, to Tommy Annesley & Joy Crosbie for their lovely tribute, to Jack Annesley for his thoughtful words & to his team for Faley’s final farewell at Templerainey. So many kind & beautiful tributes - Faley would have been honoured.

Thanks also to Dr Foster & all at Harbour Road Surgery & to the doctors, nurses & staff of St Vincent’s Hospital for their great care throughout Faley’s final weeks of illness.

Thanks to the staff of Mount Jerome Crematorium for their dignity & respect & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As we could never express our gratitude to each & every one of you individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

We will celebrate Faley’s 53rd birthday this Saturday 14th August & although he can’t be with us in body, he will remain forever in our hearts & memories.
