In Memory of the !st Anniversary of  my Brother Anthony [Tony] Jones

Whom we sadly said goodbye to on the 18th of December 2023.

 

As time goes by

While grief recedes with time and grace, time may not heal cannot replace,

The empty space you left behind that day the music died

Your leaving left a heartache, time cannot erase 

Your memory left a blessing that we can still embrace

For deep are the memories and always they stay

No passing of time can take them away

No matter how life changes no matter what we do

A special place within our hearts is always kept for you

So I simply wrote these words to say as I recall that fateful day

We knew you could no longer stay time had come to say goodbye

As life goes on we miss you still and I know we always will

For in our hearts you always stay forever and a day

As time goes by

Today just thinking of you Kid.
