 Ber Hensey
(née Keenan)

Knockowen Road, Tullamore, Offaly

Ben, Darren, Paul, Sarah and extended Hensey/Keenan family would like to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with us on our heart-breaking loss of our beautiful, wife, mam, mother in-law, nanny, sister, and aunt on 12th April 2022.

To our neighbours, relatives and friends who called to our home, brought food and refreshments and assisted in any way, we appreciate your help and support.

Our thanks to all who attended the wake, funeral Mass, burial and those who viewed online. Many travelled long distances to be with us for which we are truly grateful. Thanks to all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes and messages of condolences.

We express our sincere gratitude to Fr Joe Campbell for making the Funeral Mass such a personal occasion. Thanks to Phil O Reilly for taking care of the arrangements with such professionalism, dignity and attention to detail.  Thanks to Noreen Rabbette for the beautiful music.

Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Midlands Regional Hospital  Tullamore who cared for Mam during her brief illness. Your kindness and support was really appreciated.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Mam’s first anniversary mass will be held on Sunday 16th of April at 1pm.

God looked around His garden

And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth

And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you

And lifted you to rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough

And the hills were hard to climb,

So He closed your weary eyelids

And whispered “Peace be thine.”

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you didn’t go alone,

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.
