Bertha Swift

 Bertha Swift
(née O'Donoghue)

Kilkenny Road, Castlecomer, Kilkenny / Hospital, Limerick

You are adored and missed by all who knew you,

We loved you everyday you were with us,

and we will love and miss you everyday you are not.

The family of the late Bertha Swift who died on 21st of Feburary would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and all those who visited the funeral home, attended Bertha's removal, funeral Mass and burial. For those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, telephoned, travelled long distances to offer comfort and support, those who shared happy memories and warm messages online, and those who couldn't be present but who joined us in the celebration of Bertha's life via webcam, we are truly grateful.

A huge thanks to St Luke's Hopital, all the doctors, nurses and the incredible palliative care team who cared for Bertha in her final days and all the staff in Archersrath Nursing Home.

A special word of thanks to all those who participated in the Mass, especially Rev. Mgr Ryan for the funeral Mass and also to Fr. Doyle, Fr. Shore, Castlecomer Male Voice Choir for their beautiful hymns, Catlecomer Community Hall Hospitality Committee and finally Coady Funeral Directors for their compassionate and professional handling of Bertha's funeral arrangements.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The Month's Mind Mass for Bertha will be held on Sunday, the 26th of March, at 11:00am in the Church Of The Immaculate Conception. All welcome.

There comes a time for all of us,

when we must say goodbye,

but memories of those we love,

live on and never die.

Bertha will always be remembered and loved by her daughter, granddaughter, family and friends.
