We, the family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Condren, thank very sincerely our extended family, friends, neighbours and all who sympathised with us during our recent loss. Your kind expressions of condolence are greatly appreciated.
We thank all those who paid their respects throughout the funeral, both near and far, including those who sent flowers, letters and cards. Your support will be remembered, always.
We appreciate Fr. David and Fr. Denis for the celebration of the funeral Mass, also Stephen and Bridget whose rendition of Mam’s selection of final hymns was very touching.
Mam’s life was greatly enriched by the time that she spent each week over tea and coffee with her friends. We are grateful to those who cared for Mam during her last few years, most especially Geraldine, Mary, Sally, Margaret and her daily helpers. We appreciate their tireless attention and tender care. We acknowledge the kindness and expertise of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Mam’s final days.
It is impossible to thank everyone who has been involved in Mam’s care, but we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sign of our heartfelt appreciation.
To the staff at the Old Ship – we are forever indebted to you all.
To Helena and the staff at Hudson’s Funeral Directors - your kindness, consideration and professionalism was a comfort to all the family. We also thank Joe and Tom for preparing Mam’s final resting place.
And last, but by no means least, we would like to express our deep gratitude to Fr. David, whose First Friday visits were a highlight of Mam’s life in recent years.
Mam’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, December 10th, at 11.30am in St.’s Mary and Peter's Church, Arklow.
