Susan, John, Peter and Seánie would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who offered condolences and support in their recent very sad loss.
Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, letters, gifts and messages of sympathy and to those who attended Breda’s removal, Requiem Mass and service in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Thank you also to all who joined via webcam and parish radio and who gathered safely outside Breda’s home, her Parish Church and the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome as she made her final journey.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Liam Cuffe who attended to Breda in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, to Fr. Padráig O’Cochláin for receiving Breda at Sts. Mary and Peter’s Church, to Fr. David Brough who celebrated Breda’s Requiem Mass and to Fr. Joe O’ Reilly for receiving Breda at the Garden Chapel. We are grateful also to readers Bernie and Paul, to soloist Stephen and organist Rosarie.
A special thank you to Dr. Noeleen Fortune and staff of Maryville surgery for their care to Breda over the years and to the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital for the care they provided during Breda’s last weeks. Thank you as well to Breda’s carers Rose and Teresa, Nurse Mary and the staff at Arklow Health Centre and Adrian Dunne Pharmacy. Many thanks also to Helena and family of Hudson’s Funeral Directors for their guidance and professional service.
To our extended family, friends, colleagues, and good neighbours from South Green, your continued kindness and support is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. To those who Breda met while on her daily walk, she truly valued the friendships you shared with her.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered with the intention that the Sacred Heart will keep you all safe and well during this difficult time.
