As we lovingly remember BRIDIE on her first anniversary, her husband Martin, children Colm, Jackie, Mark and Samantha, as well as her grandchildren Lauren, Aaron, Saoirse and Clara, would like to sincerely thank everyone for the many expresses of sympathy and kindness shown to us following our sad loss of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother.

We especially thank both Bridie’s and Matin’s nieces and nephews and all our extended family for their on-going kindness and support.

We give a special thanks to our neighbours and friends for their support and kindness on the sad passing of Bridie.

We would like to thank Eileen in particular for her help and guidance throughout and in particular for helping us to arrange our home in order to bring Bridie home.

We would like to say a special thank you to Bridie’s close friends Linda, Ina and Mary for all the friendship and support you have shown over the years.

A big thank you to all who sent flowers, cards, texts, phone calls and to all those who attended the house or funeral.

We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to her previous doctor Dr Donal Kenefick and doctor Dr Kevin McCarthy of Riverstown Family Practice for his exceptional care given to Bridie throughout her life. We would especially like to thank all the staff at CUH in particular the team at ward 4B and Short Stay Unit who provided exceptional care to Bridie.

We would like to particularly thank the public health nurses in Carrigtwohill Ann, Angela and the carers Antoinette and Marion who made it possible for us to keep Bridie at home for as long as we could through her illness.

A special word of thanks to Fr Ted for a beautiful mass service. Thanks to Hyde’s funeral homes, especially Anthony in Midleton, for their professionalism but also their personal assitance shown to us at the difficult time.

To our extended family and friends we again thank you for all your support. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please except this acknowledgemnt as a token of our appreciation.

Bridie’s First Anniversary Mass will be held at Glounthaune Church on Saturday 13th November at 6pm for anyone that wishes to attend.

"Rest in peace dear loved one,
and thanks for all you've done.
We pray that God has given you,
the crown you've truly won"

Love you always xx
