We, the family of the late Carmel McGeough (nee Carolan), wish to extend our sincere appreciation for the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the recent loss of our beloved Carmel.

Our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends who provided practical and emotional support to us. 

To those who attended Carmel’s wake, funeral Mass and burial, who travelled long distances to be with us, who viewed the funeral Mass online, who provided guards of honour, who telephoned, sent messages of condolences, Mass cards, flowers, and who donated so generously to Carrick Cancer, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Canon Michael Daly, Donaghmoyne and Fr. Connaughton, Drumconrath, for the beautiful Requiem Mass for Carmel and for the kindness and compassion afforded to our family.

A special thanks to Lonergan Funeral Directors, for their professionalism and for the compassion shown to us. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Carmel’s Month's Mind Mass will be held on Sunday, 21st May 2023, at 10am in St. Lastra's Church, Donaghmoyne.
