We the parents, sisters and brothers of the late Catherine, wish to express our sincere thanks for the many condolences, and kindness shown to us at Catherine's sudden passing. Special thanks to our families, friends, neighbours and in particular, to Padraigh Shortt, for your love and support. To the crochet and rosary groups, who continue to offer support, we are very grateful.
We appreciate the numerous Mass cards, messages, telephone calls and those who travelled long distances to attend Catherine's funeral Mass. To those who called to our home to offer comfort, support and share happy memories with us, in particular Sinead O'Leary, Catherine's childhood friend, we truly appreciate you all.
We wish to extend a special gratitude to Fr. John O'Donovan and our dear friend Monsignor Kevin O'Callaghan who celebrated Catherine's beautiful Mass. A special thanks to John Keohane, Funeral Director, for his professionalism and kindness, he showed to our family at this incredibly hard time. To Jason Healy and staff at Kilcully Cemetery and also the staff, at the Blarney Castle Hotel.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment serves to show our sincere appreciation.
Masses will be offered for your intentions.
An Anniversary Mass for Catherine will be held in the North Cathedral
on Saturday, May 25th, at 5.00pm.
We loved a girl with the up most love,
Of which my soul is capable,
And she was taken from us,
Yet in the agony of my spirit,
In surrendering such a treasure,
We feel a thousand times richer,
Than if we had never had her.
Until we meet again Kate.
