A Moonlit Night

It was as if heaven

Had silently kissed the earth

And she in full blossom

Now dreams thereof

A breeze blew through the fields

The corn waved gently

The woods rustled softly

So starry clear was the night

And my soul spread

Her wings far and wide

Flew through the quiet land

As if she was flying home.
