Ciss’ family would like to sincerely thank all who sympathised with them on the recent sad loss of their mother.
Our sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow and the District Hospital, Carlow who cared for Ciss as her health deteriorated. Also the family would like to thank Dr Gallagher and Dr Wall, and all the doctors, nurses and staff of Gallagher Medical Center who looked after Ciss so well for many years.
A special mention to The management and staff of Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Road, Carlow who made Ciss so welcome during her brief stay there and to her carers, Sharon Byrne, Geraldine Doogue, Collette Kelly, Debra Ayres and Mary McKnight, who helped care for Ciss over the last two years.
Thanks to Fr Tom O’Byrne, Fr. Yambo, Fr. John Dunphy and Fr Tom Little for leading the prayers at the wake and who celebrated the Funeral Mass. Thanks to Louise O’Connor and Dale Hennessy for their beautiful music during the Funeral Mass.
Thanks to O'Hanrahans GFC, Fianna Fail and The Wexford Association for the guard of honour from The Cathedral of the Assumption to St Mary's Cemetery.
A very special thanks to our wonderful colleagues, customers and staff at Carpenters who worked and socialised in Carpenters over the years, Ciss was very fond of you all and friends who supported us at this time of grief and loss, it’s very much appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sign of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for their intentions.
Months Mind Mass
Ciss’ Months Mind Mass will be held in the Cathedral of Assumption, Carlow, on Saturday 16th of November at 6.15pm.
Her beloved husband Paddy’s Anniversary Mass will also be celebrated at this time.
