The family of the late David Hewston of Castle Park, Dundalk, who died on 24th October 2022, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited David at repose and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. David left this life as he had lived it, simply and without any fuss and it was his express final wish that there should be no funeral service.

A special word of thanks to the dedicated staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and the Louth Hospital Dundalk for their exemplary care of David in his final months. Special thanks also to Quinns Funeral Directors Dundalk for their sensitive, caring and supportive service.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
