Denise PRINGLE

 Denise PRINGLE
(née Courtney)

Blackrock, Louth / Armagh

Revered and remembered with deep love and affection by her husband Jim, daughter Khara, sons Paul and James and our extended families.

We wish to thank all who sympathised and supported us through Denise’s long illness. We are extremely grateful to our incredible neighbours, friends and all who called to our home to offer their condolences. Every call, letter, card and the many messages and tributes left on RIP.ie were greatly appreciated. These communications created empathy and a bridge of supportive and compassionate insights that have helped to sustain us in this extremely difficult period. They were and continue to be a great comfort to us, as was the presence of so many people who joined us outside the Church, online for the Funeral Mass or at the cemetery in Haggardstown.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the brilliant carers who always treated Denise in the most dignified and compassionate manner. Their professionalism and genuine concern for Denise became a daily insight into the true meaning of humanity. Their spirit, kindness and humour will always be cherished.

We also want to acknowledge the incredible support and medical care provided with such courtesy and kindness to Denise over seven years from doctors, nurses, pharmacists and staff from the HSE, Home Support, Louth Mental Health, Comfort Keepers, Home Instead, The Birches, Blackrock Family Practice, McQuillan Pharmacy and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Denise’s final years were enhanced, made more comfortable and peaceful by the constant support, advice and kindness shown by all associated with these wonderful, caring services.

We would like to thank Fr. Richard Naughton and Fr. Padraig Keenan who celebrated Denise’s Funeral Mass so movingly and combined with soloist Sarah McCourt to produce a fitting celebration reflective of a life well lived.

We greatly appreciate the advice and professionalism of Quinn’s Funeral Homes. Their sensitive, courteous and calm approach combined with their attention to detail were fundamental in alleviating a very stressful occasion.

But our greatest thanks are to Denise. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will always be remembered with love.

Denise’s Months Mind will be celebrated at Mass in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock on Sunday, October 1st at 12 noon.
