The family of the late Derek Morris, Tullyallen, Co. Louth, who passed away peacefully on 25th July 2024, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, mass cards, flowers, donations to Tredagh Lodge in Derek’s memory and condolences on RIP.ie.

Our sincere thanks to Dr Paul O’Connor and Dr Catherine Lynn and the staff of Sliverstream Care Centre Duleek for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Derek during his illness. Thank you to Fr Dooley for such a lovely mass, Mary Gantley for the beautiful music and our heartfelt thanks to all that read and participated during the funeral service, for such a personal and fitting tribute to Derek Morris. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came out to show their respect along the route from Derek’s home to the Church, we were overwhelmed.

Thank you to neighbours and friends who supported us by joining us in person or via the live stream mass, to pay tribute to Derek. Thank you to Townley’s funeral home for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Derek will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
