Egon’s wife Pauline, sons Leo & Matt, daughters Margaret & Ida and all our family wish to express our most sincere thanks to everyone who offered condolences throughout Egon’s funeral & during the time since.

Thank you to all those who visited the funeral home, attended Egon’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & floral tributes, those who travelled long distances to pay their respects & to all those who phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online.

Thank you to the team at Arklow Medical Practice & to the kind & caring staff of Aisling House Nursing Home for the dignity & care they brought to Egon’s final months.

Special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his comforting prayers and for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Avril O’Toole & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.

To our own extended families, our kind neighbours & many dear friends, the love & respect expressed for Egon & the continued support shown to us is much appreciated & will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to Pat & Jim Hoey & their staff at the Bridge Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe and Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

Egon’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18th November at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church and those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam
