Eilish’s son Declan, daughters Anne, Valerie & Elizabeth & all her family wish to offer their most sincere thanks for the many expressions of condolence they received throughout their recent sad loss.
Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, to those who attended Eilish’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, those who sent Mass cards & floral tributes, letters & texts, those who shared warm wishes & happy memories online & those who travelled long distances or joined in the celebration of Eilish’s life via live-stream.
Our most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Foster, his wife Anne & the team at Harbour Road Surgery & the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital who cared for Eilish throughout her final weeks.
Special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his friendship & guidance & for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Lucy Carolan & Bridget Kenny for their beautiful music.
Thank you to our extended families, to our colleagues & our wonderful neighbours & friends for their continued kindness & support.
Thanks also to Jason Porter for tending to the grave, the management and staff of the Arklow Golf Club for their hospitality & all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Eilish’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 12th October at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam.
