The family of the late Betty Bodels would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended our mother’s wake and funeral service, including our relatives and friends who travelled long distances to be with us. Many thanks to those who sent messages of condolences, cards, and gifts of food.

Thanks to Canon Trevor Sargent and Valerie Power, Diocesan Reader, for their advice and direction in making the service in St Mary’s Church a true celebration of Betty’s life. Thanks also to the Church Wardens John Power, Bob Deacon and Dawn Rothwell for their help in organizing the service. Thanks to the organist Sam Jacob and the congregation for the lovely hymns.Thanks to Tom and Adrian from Lennon’s funeral home for their kindness and professionalism and to Johnny and Ivan for preparing the grave.

Special thanks to Dr Liam Dunne and the team at Pottersway Medical Centre, the team at Loftus Pharmacy and to the Staff at Signacare Nursing home who took great care of Betty in her final year.Much appreciation to the staff at Bunclody Golf Club for their wonderful hospitality after the funeral and to Foley’s Florists for the beautiful wreaths.

Finally, a big thank you to Betty’s devoted friends and excellent neighbours, whose kindness and support will never be forgotten.
