Betty’s daughter Katalin, her grandchildren Peter, Adam, Gary & Cathy & all her family wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support shown to us at the time of Betty’s sudden & sad passing & throughout the time since.
Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Betty’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes, those who travelled long distances & all those who phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online.
A special word of thanks to the Arklow Gardaí & Arklow Ambulance Crew for their compassion & help on the morning Betty passed away, to Dr. Buggle, Dr. Doyle & their team at Sheltonville Surgery for their care over the years & to Geraldine, Trish, Tina & Susan from Arklow Home Help Services who were so good to Betty throughout her final months. Thanks also to the management & staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy for all their help.
To our own extended family, our neighbours & friends & to Betty’s wonderful neighbours, most especially Geraldine, Carol & Pauline, your kindness is much appreciated & will never be forgotten. To Sharon & all Betty’s friends in the Irish Wheelchair Association, your companionship & care has been an invaluable source of comfort throughout the past few years & our family can never thank you enough.
Special thanks to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers & lovely funeral Mass, to Fr. David for his graveside prayers & to Geraldine Delaney & Bridget Kenny for such beautiful music.
Thanks also to Sean & Geraldine Condren & their staff at The Old Ship for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Betty’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 5th November at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
