Acknowledgement

Fr. Pat Murphy

 Fr. Pat Murphy

Fuhir, Castletownbere, Cork / Tralee, Kerry / Sneem, Kerry

Fr. Pat’s family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.

Thank you to Pat’s neighbours, friends, religious colleagues, classmates, and all those who phoned, sent Mass cards, wrote messages of sympathy on RIP.ie and especially to all those who travelled from Sneem, Kenmare, and other long distances to attend Pat’s removal, funeral Mass and burial.

A sincere word of thanks to Bishop Ray Brown, Bishop William Murphy, Fr. Noel Spring and the many priests of the diocese who concelebrated the funeral Mass, and to the choir in Castletownbere who provided such wonderful music.

Thank you to the management, nurses and staff of Fatima Nursing Home for their kindness and care during the past 10 years and to the doctors, nurses and staff of Tralee General Hospital who cared for Pat in recent months. Thanks also to the many friends, colleagues, and parishioners who took the time to visit Pat in Tralee on a regular basis and whose friendship he valued so much.

A sincere thank you to Harrington and McElligott funeral Directors for their professionalism and sensitivity during this sad time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Month's mind mass Saturday 3rd September at 6.30 p.m. in  Sacred heart Church Castletownbere. All welcome.
