We, Frank’s wife Margaret (Peg) and daughter Joanne, together with the extended Mockler family, would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us following the sad loss of Frank. 

Thanks to all those from near and far who attended the Requiem Mass in person or via webcam, made personal visits or phone calls, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and flowers, as well as the many people who kindly posted online condolences.

We thank Father Celsus Tierney for the kindness he showed to Frank along his final journey and for officiating at his Requiem Mass.

To all those who participated in the Mass; singers and musicians, sacristans and readers, we greatly appreciate your contribution.

We will forever remember the care, kindness and professionalism shown to Frank by Ann Walsh, Angela Gleeson and their colleagues from the HSE home carers team; Dr. John McBrearty, Dr. Elaine Joyce, Nurse Delia and staff from Thurles Medical Practise; Mary Barry and the Public Health Nurses from Cashel; Mary McNamara and the Palliative Care Nurse Team from Clonmel; Daffodil night Nurse Gwen and Nicholas, Pauline and all the staff of Mockler’s Pharmacy, Thurles, who together supported us in keeping Frank at home until he died.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank all the staff from Tipperary University Hospital, Limerick University Hospital and Nenagh Hospital for looking after Frank at times when he was hospitalised.

Our warmest thanks to our family and wonderful neighbours and friends who have supported us over the years in our care of Frank.

Our heartfelt appreciation is sent to Hugh Ryan Funeral Directors, Thurles  for their sensitive and professional support throughout the funeral preparations and to the grave diggers at Holycross Abbey for the respectful manner in which Frank’s final resting place was prepared. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
