GABE O'CONNOR

 GABE O'CONNOR

Kilcolman, Asdee, Kerry / Ballyduff, Kerry

As we lovingly remember Gabe on his first anniversary, his wife Noma and family would like to express their grateful appreciation and heartfelt thanks for the support and kindness shown to us during our very sad loss.

A sincere thank you to our extended family, our wonderful neighbours and great friends and all those who travelled to be with us to support us and help us through our tremendous loss.

We wish to acknowledge all who offered support, sympathy, sent Mass cards, floral tributes, messages, online tributes and Christmas momentos it meant so much and brought us great comfort during this heart breaking time. We will be forever grateful to you all.

We would like to thank everyone who was there for us, helping and supporting us during the wake and to the people and businesses who brought food and refreshments to the house. We appreciate your time and generosity.

Our sincere thanks to all the staff of Dr Maharg’s surgery Ballybunion, Bons Secours Hospital Tralee and University Hospital Kerry and Ann Harty and all her Staff in Ballyduff Pharmacy for the care, dignity and respect shown to Gabe throughout.

Our heartfelt appreciation to all those who participated in Gabe’s funeral, to Fr Michael Hussey who celebrated the mass, to Stephen Donegan for the music and singing. To the late Billy Enright, funeral director for his professionalism, advice and support at a difficult time, to the gravediggers who prepared Gabe’s final resting place.

To all those who managed traffic arrangements and provided guards of honour and those who lined the route your kindness will never be forgotten.

We extend grateful appreciation to Gabe’s many dear friends and his colleagues from Kerry Co-Op who always kept in touch with Gabe and took part in his final farewell.

While we know it is impossible to thank everyone individually a Mass will be offered for your intentions as our way of expressing a deep gratitude to each of you.

Gabe’s first anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, May 14th, at 9:30am in St Mary’s Church, Asdee.
