Garry's children Sonia and Quentin, Sonia's Partner Alan and Quentin's Fiancée April , his grandchildren Cameron and Ellie Rose, and his beloved sister Mary , wish to extend their heartfelt thanks for all the kind expressions of condolence and the exceptional support they received following Garry's death, throughout the funeral and the weeks prior to his passing. 

We would like to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Garry, those who attended the funeral Mass and burial, all who travelled long distances to be with us, and those who called to our home.  The shared memories from all of you at his wake and funeral along with the many phone calls, flowers, cards and words of condolence meant a great deal to us all and provided us with so much comfort that he was so loved. 

Our thanks to Fr. David Brough for celebrating the funeral Mass and to Michael Flood and Trish Kavanagh for the wonderful music.

A special word of thanks to all the staff at Wicklow Hospice for the exceptional care given to Garry for the duration of time he was there. We will never forget the kindness of the staff and the Nurses during this time. We are eternally grateful to Dee Breslin, all of the Palliative Nurses and Dr Buggle for all of their help and support that they gave to Garry. 

Thank you to Hudson Funeral Directors, for their kindness & the Management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality. Thanks also to the Grave Attendance Joe and Tom. 

To our very kind family, friends, neighbours and everyone who reached out to us during our time of mourning we are grateful for your continued support and love during our time of need.  Garry will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Due to the amount of support we received it would be impossible to thank everyone individually.  We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation to you all.

Garry's month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 20th August at 11.30am  in The Church of Saints Mary and Peter, Arklow.
