On this, the first anniversary of her death, the family of the late Gwyn Cooper Flynn, (nee Gill), Cypress Lodge, Castletown, Co. Laois, especially her sons Stuart, Scott, Ross, Robin and Dale, wish to express our sincere thanks and deep gratitude to everyone who sympathised with or supported us in any way following the loss of our much loved mother on 11th August 2018.

Thank you to everyone who called to the house with condolences or food, sent cards or letters, attended the funeral, or made donations in memory of Mam to Tallaght Hospital.

Thanks also to Rev. Lesley Robinson and Rev. Ruth Gill for a lovely funeral service, to Michael Elliot for his help with the arrangements in Annatrim, and to Jimmy Guilfoyle, Funeral Director.

At her own request, a very special and heartfelt word of thanks must go to Mam’s wonderful consultant in Tallaght Hospital, Dr. Janice Walsh, her registrar Dr. Juliet Hamilton, and their team, along with the palliative team, nurses in oncology and on the Maguire Ward – as a family we are eternally indebted to them for their dedication and kindness. 

Mam will be forever remembered and forever loved. Her sense of humour and spirit were of great comfort to us all in her darkest hours and in the months that followed. 

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
