Helen O'Sullivan

 Helen O'Sullivan
(née Quigley)

Dromerkeen, Lauragh, Kerry / Kenmare, Kerry

As we lovingly remember Helen, on her First Anniversary, we, her sons Dermot & Denis, daughters Maureen, Eileen, Christine & Bernie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren & extended family wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us at a very sad and difficult time for our family.

Thank you to all those sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards and letters, those who texted, phoned, left messages on RIP.ie and those who sent floral tributes.

We greatly appreciate our neighbours and friends who attended the Funeral Home, stood on route to and outside the church and joined us in the graveyard to say a final farewell. To Mary and James Morrissey and Lynn and Brian Kelly, our heartfelt thanks for travelling to be with us, under such difficult circumstances. The restrictions at the time prevented us from meeting you all personally to express our gratitude but  your support on the day will always be remembered.

As a family we will be forever grateful to Barbara, Ciara, Anitha, the nurses  and care assistants at Kenmare Nursing Home for their love, kindness, compassion and understanding shown to Helen and all of us during her 3 years as a resident there and most especially in her final days.

We thank those who provided home care for Helen before she went to the Nursing Home especially Rosarie, who always cared for her with dignity and kindness.

We acklnowledge with gratitude Helen's doctor's over the years and Brosnan's Pharmacy, Kenmare who were always so helpful.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Kerin for calling to the house, celebrating such a lovely mass and graveside prayers and to Canon Ted Harrington for saying the rosary for Helen. Our thanks to Eileen Healy and Dympna O' Sullivan for their work in the Church and to Stella Randles and Katelyn for such beautiful singing.

Our heartfelt thanks to James O' Connor, Funeral Director, for his patience , kindness and professional handling of the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers for preparing Helen's final resting place with her loved ones. It made a difficult time so much easier.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually , please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrament of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
