The family of the late Joe McCarthy of Palmerstown, who died 13th March 2021, would like to thank most sincerely all those who contacted us to sympathise on the sudden death of our beloved Dad and Grandad.  All those who left lovely comments on RIP.ie and the Palmerstown Down Memory Lane Facebook page, the McCarthy and Merriman families, and his many friends.  We would especially like to thank Dad's neighbours who lined the road as he was making his final journey, we really appreciated that so much. We would also like to thank Cunninghams Funeral Directors, in particular Zoe, who made all the arrangements so much easier. Special thanks also to the staff of Dublin Cemeteries Trust and Newlands Cross Crematorium, and Padraic Cawley who made his service so special.

On this, his first anniversary, we would like you to remember Dad, what a wonderful, kind, funny man he was.  Sing a song in his memory.
