Joe Stewart, Mountscribe, Kinvara, Co. Galway and formerly of Larne, Co. Antrim.

Joe's wife, Fiona wishes to express a sincere heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported her on the sudden sad loss of her beloved husband, Joe.

The Stewart family and extended family were overwhelmed by the love, generosity and care given by all who called to the house, attended the funeral service and who sent cards, flowers, donations and messages of condolences for Joe.

Thank you to our tremendous friends and neighbours in Mountscribe and the community of Kinvara.

A special thanks to our wonderful friends the musicians, singers and readers and all who made Joe’s send off both so personal and memorable. 

Thank you to Fr. Clifford, Michael Keogh of Corless Funeral Home, Dr. Raymond Piggott, the emergency services and Shannon Crematorium for their professional handling and care. Also to many of the local business and hostelries for the support and generosity in our final farewell to Joe.

We were all truly blessed to have had Joe in our lives, may he rest in peace and light.

Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Kinvara at 7pm Saturday 1st June.
