In loving memory of John (Johnny) Walsh whose first anniversary away from home occurs on 7th December 2019.

The family wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for the support received not only at the end of John’s life but throughout his illness. A sincere thank you to those individuals who phoned, called to the house, travelled from near and far to offer condolences and attend the funeral. All those that helped with the arrangements with a special mention going to John’s nephew Mark for the beautiful singing service, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff in St. Vincent’s Hospital, especially St. Anne’s ward and ICU for the compassion and respect always shown to John and our family. 

No act of kindness went unnoticed and from the bottom of our hearts we are forever grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.
