The family of the late John McArdle would like to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We are very grateful to the staffs of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and Carlingford Nursing Home for all that they did for John while he was in their care. The family would like to express their gratitude to their very good neighbours and friends who have supported and assisted them and shared in their loss. We would like to thank Fr. Oliver Stansfield who celebrated a very fitting Funeral Mass, the Choir for the beautiful music and Annette and Gerard Quinn for their personal care and attention in handling the arrangements. John would have been so proud that he was honoured by having his coffin draped in the flag of his country. We appreciate those who performed this honour with such dignity and respect.  

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

John’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, November 7th, in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Brid-a-Crin at 10a.m.
