John's wife Anne, children Elaine, Áine-Marie and Richard and family wish to extend their sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and kindness received following their very sad loss.

 

A very special thank you to Arklow Community First Responders, An Garda Síochána Arklow and the crew of The National Ambulance Service for their efforts and for their compassion.

 

We were touched by the many kind messages, calls, cards, letters and other expressions of sympathy received. We would like to thank everyone who called to the funeral home, those who travelled long distances to be with us and our extended family and friends for their care and support.

 

We would like to thank Fr Brough for calling to our home, his attendance at the funeral home and his prayers and kind words at the graveside.

 

Thank you also to those who so generously donated to Wicklow Hospice in John's memory.

 

We are very grateful to Helena Hudson and the staff at Hudson's Funeral Home for their professionalism and humanity.
