Jude’s mam Lynn and Jude’s wide family circle would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kindness and expressions of sympathy and condolences on the loss of our beloved Jude on 5th October 2022. We thank those family, friends and neighbours whom, called personally to offer their condolences, wrote sympathy cards, Mass cards, beautiful letters and sent flowers. For those who telephoned, sent messages of support and comfort on RIP and for those who attended Jude’s Funeral Mass and month's mind mass in person and via online.

 

A special word of thanks to Fr Derek Ryan Holy Family Parish & Fr Padraig Keenan Haggardstown & Blackrock Parish, for the very beautiful and uplifting Funeral Mass and for the recital of prayers and blessings by Jude’s graveside. To Tony Shevlin Funeral Directors for providing great care, respect and dignity throughout those very difficult days and beyond. To the beautiful singing and music provided by Roisin and Evelyn Crawley and Olivia Finnegan. To the gravediggers for their service with great dignity and respect.

 

To Jude’s wonderful caregivers at his home and at his school and college educational settings.  To Prof Damien McCormack and his orthopedic Team at Temple Street & Cappagh Hospitals, Prof Richard Costello and his respiratory Team and Prof Richard Sheahan and his cardiology Team at the DMD clinic in Beaumont Hospital, the specialised Teams in The CRC Dublin, his Therapists at The HSE Louth Disability Team, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Team, the Louth Palliative Care Team, his local doctor and the local Connolly Pharmacy Team.  All whom have shown Jude great care, compassion, dedication and support throughout Jude’s childhood and young adult life.

 

To Jude's wonderful friends throughout his life, with a particular mention to James and to Barry in which Jude shared with them both a very special, trusting and loyal friendship. Also, a special word of Thanks to Jude’s former school class mates and friends who reunited of recent to organise a very beautiful presentation to Lynn, in remembrance, love and respect for Jude and the wonderful times they all shared together. Your kindness brought her great comfort.

 

Lynn would like to sincerely thank her many friends and former work colleagues who have always supported herself and Jude with great kindness and compassion, in many ways throughout the years.

 

We understand it is impossible to thank everyone in person, however, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation for all your kindness and support and know that you all played a huge part in helping us through these very difficult times on the loss of our beloved Jude.

  ​​Jude's 1st Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday, 1st October, at 10.30am in The Holy Family Church, Dundalk, A91K761.
