Eight Anniversary

In loving memory of our beautiful mam/nan & great-grandmother whose eight anniversary occurs on 2nd of February.

We have tried so hard to find the words 
To show how we feel 
For the past years without you 
It does not seem real 
You left us so suddenly 
Goodbye was not to be 
But the memories you left behind 
Are locked with a golden key 
We often sit and think of you 
And think of how you died 
Many times we longed for you 
And many times we cried 
For nobody knows our sorrow 
Only those who see us weep
For we shed our tears with broken hearts 
When the world is fast asleep.
