Karl’s children Susan, Carrie, Jacqui, Karl, Andrea & all his family wish to express their most sincere thanks for the support & kindness shown to them throughout Karl’s short illness, at the time of his sad passing & in the weeks since.

Many thanks to those who visited the funeral home to pay their respects & say their goodbyes. Equally, thank you to the many family & friends who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Karl’s life via livestream & those who sent heart-warming messages of condolence & support online. Albeit at a safe distance, your kindness & support brought comfort & solace to us all.

Special thanks to all the staff at Maryville Surgery, Allcare Pharmacy and St. Vincent’s Hospital for their great care. Our heartfelt thanks also to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his comforting prayers, guidance & lovely committal service.

Thank you to our extended families, colleagues, neighbours & friends, old & new, the kindness, thoughtfulness & support shown to us will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to the management & staff of The Woodenbridge Hotel for their hospitality. Joe O’Toole from RSS for tending to the grave. To Niamh and all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for the beautiful service and for their compassion, understanding and professionalism through this sad time.

Karl’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 5th of February, at 6:30pm in the Church of Ss. Mary & Peter, Arklow. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam
