 Kathleen Carvill
(née Killian)

Warrenpoint, Down / Roscommon

Acknowledgement Notice for the late Kathleen Carvill (nee Killian) Warrenpoint and formerly of Roscommon:

We, Kathleen’s family, Denis (Debbie), Marion (Colm), Declan (Helen), Claire (Michael) and Paula (Aidan) would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the support and kindness shown to us on the recent death of our Mum. Together with her sisters Elsie, Bridie and Sheila; her grandchildren, nephews and nieces, we are truly grateful.

We extend our gratitude to neighbours, friends, relatives, and colleagues, to those who attended the wake or funeral, to all who sent messages of sympathy, and to those who donated to Parkinsons UK.

We would especially like to thank all the medical, nursing, social work and allied health professional staff who cared for Mum both at home and in hospital, and the carers who attended to her with such kindness in her own home.

Thank you also to her neighbours and friends for all their care and compassion over the years, and to the staff of Warrenpoint Health Centre and Walsh’s Pharmacy who helped support Mum at home during her illness.

A special word of thanks to Monsignor Hugh Connolly for the dignified Requiem Mass and for supporting us as a family. Thanks also to the musicians for the beautiful music during the Funeral Mass.

We would also like to thank Cumann Pheadair Naofa for their Guard of Honour at the Chapel and to the staff and management of the Whistledown Hotel for the lovely meal after the funeral.

Thank you to Cathal and his team at McAnulty’s Funeral Services for the professional and the dignified manner with which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Kathleen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am on Sunday 18th August in St Peter's Church, Warrenpoint.
