ACKLOWLEDGEMENT AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY

FEBRUARY 27TH 2025

On this, the first anniversary of the passing of our dear mother Kathleen (Kay), Avonlea Court, Church Road, Blackrock, we, her daughters, Donna and Linda, her grandchildren, Megan and Andrew and extended family would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well wishers who attended the various services and who provided emotional and practical support for us at such a difficult time. To those who sent cards, messages of condolences as well as those who made charitable donations, we are forever grateful. 

Our sincere thanks to Fr. Denver of the African Missions, Blackrock Road and the staff of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and Cemetery, Blackrock.  We also extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of O’Connors Funeral Home, Temple Hill, for their kindness, sensitivity and professionalism, especially Pat and Bryan.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Carers and staff of Bons Secours Hospital, Cork, for their exceptional care of our Mum in her final days.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone, individually, who assisted either Mum or ourselves, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions and a donation will be made to LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, on your behalf.
