The family of the late Kathleen Mc Laughlin of 28 Tullycar Road, Castlederg (Aghyaran) wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who called at the wake, offered their support and condolences on the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. Your kind words, thoughts, and prayers have been a great source of comfort to us.
We express our deepest gratitude to Rev John Gilmore and Rev Paul Fraser who attended to mother’s spiritual needs at home and who brought comfort and strength to the family. Special thanks to Rev Paul Fraser, Presider at mother’s Requiem Mass who captured her personality and faith beautifully in his sermon. Also thanks to concelebrants Rev John Gilmore and Rev Peter Mc Cawille and to the Altar Servers.
Thanks to Anne Marie Hickey and Aidan Watkins who provided the beauty of song and music at the Requiem Mass. Their presence and performance brought comfort and solace to our family during this difficult time.
We thank Charlie Lynch, funeral director for his professionalism and all those who helped with the funeral arrangements and burial. His attention to detail and compassion throughout the planning and execution of the wake and funeral service was truly appreciated. A special word of thanks to the gravediggers.
Thank you to the carers. Their role in mother’s life was more than just caring. They brightened her life and respectfully helped mother manage her failing health with courage in the latter weeks of her life.
Mother had exceptional care from many health care professionals. We extend warm thanks to them especially the doctors, medical team and staff in The Castlederg Group Surgery and Donaghy’s Chemist, Castlederg.
A special thanks to the management and staff of Aghyaran GAA Centre and Villa Rose Hotel for the delicious food provided following the funeral. To Paul Lynch, Lynch’s Coach Hire and his staff who ensured commute was effortless for mourners in getting to and from the wake house.
To all those who attended the Requiem Mass, sent condolence messages, brought Mass or condolence cards, flowers and food, thank you. It meant a lot to us and will be a reminder of your thoughtfulness in the days ahead.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually. However, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
