 Kathleen Roche
(née Kavanagh)

The Glen, Cork

The family of the late Kathleen Roche of 47 Mourne Ave, The Glen, Cork who died on September 4th  2023 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our extended Kavanagh and Roche families, your support throughout Mam's illness will always be very much appreciated. Heartfelt thanks also to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended Mam's rosary, funeral service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the kind and caring staff of the mercy hospital especially the staff and fellow patients on St. Josephs ward who made Mam's stay so much more bearable for us and, more importantly, for her. Our deepest gratitude is offered to the Marymount palliative care team/night nurses whose constant support and advice allowed us to care for Mam at home with the utmost of dignity and where Mam was allowed a most beautiful and peaceful passing. We are forever indebted to you. Thank you also to the district health nurses and the doctors and staff of Dillons Cross medical centre. We are especially grateful to the staff of Jerh O'Connor & sons funeral directors for their sensitive and professional handling of Mam's arrangements.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The First Anniversary Mass for Kathleen will be held on September 1st in the church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher at 11:30. All welcome.

Loving you is easy,
We do it every day,
Missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.
