Deirdre would like to most sincerely thank everyone for the many expressions of kindness and support shown to her on the death of her loving father Kevin. She wishes to express her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended Fanagans Funeral Home, St. Teresa’s Church Donore Avenue for Kevin’s funeral mass and cremation in the garden chapel Mount Jerome, those who travelled long distances, and those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebration of Kevin’s Life via webcam, sent mass and sympathy cards, condolences online on rip.ie, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, texts, emails, and phone calls.
I would like to thank Mr. David Fanagan and all the wonderful staff at Fanagans Funeral Directors for their advice, kindness and professional care. A special word of thanks to the wonderful ambulance and first aid responder paramedics, doctor and gardai who treated my father Kevin when he became ill suddenly and all the staff in St. James Hospital.
Fr. John O’Gara for the very beautiful and uplifting funeral mass and recital of prayers in the garden chapel, Mount Jerome. The soloist Katy and the organist Maria for the beautiful singing and music.
Everyone involved in the preparation of the church, and all the participants in Kevin’s funeral mass; readers, prayers of faithful, offertory procession, Eucharist Ministers and Scout Prayer.
All the Scouts who formed the Guard of Honour outside the church. The staff at Mount Jerome crematorium for their service with great dignity and respect.
The Fahys, Kennys, my extended family, my lifelong neighbours, friends, all my wonderful colleagues in Chrysalis Montessori, Scouts, President and all the members of Phoenix Cricket Club, your kindness and support will never be forgotten. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually I trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of my sincere appreciation the holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
A Month’s Mind Mass will take place this Saturday (23rd November) in Donore Avenue Church at 10am.
