Carrickboy, Longford

On this, the first anniversary of Kevin's sad passing, his wife Catherine and children Joseph, Sarah, John and Ruth, mother Imelda, sisters Helen and Maria wish to express heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our berevement.  Our sincere thanks to all who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, telephoned, expressed sympathy online and travelled from abroad.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Peter Brady for celebrating a beautiful Funeral Mass, to Ann Keenan for the beautiful music and song and to Fr. Charlie Healy for his visits to Kevin in hospital and to our family home.  We thank you sincerely.  To all those who stood along the roadside and especially those who performed a guard of honour with the tractors as we passed our home, this brought a smile to us, as it would Kevin also, we are deeply grateful.

To our neighbours and friends who baked, brought food and supplies to our house on the days of the wake and funeral, to all those who looked after the farm at this time, to all those who drove us to see Kevin in hospital over those weeks.  Your generosity was greatly appreciated.  Thanks to the parking stewarts at the house, church and graveyard.

To Patrick Gogan Funeral Directors, please accept our sincere thanks and gratitude for your compassion, guidance and attention to us at that time.

Thanks to the paramedics, the gardaí and the air ambulance who acted with compassion at all times.

Thanks to everyone who cared for Kevin in Beaumont Hospital intensive care unit, for the care they gave to Kevin and for the time they spent with us and especially for how they did their very best for Kevin's children at that very difficult time.  It was greatly appreciated.

It is not possibe to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation to all who supported us in any way.

Kevin's 1st Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday, 7th May, 11.00am, St Mary's Church, Legan.
