Liam Kearns of Clonlara, Co. Clare, Died 12th March 2023.

Angela, Rachel, and Laura, Liam’s parents Ollie and Eileen, and the extended Kearns family would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us after the heartbreaking loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son, Liam.  

To our wonderful family, friends, and neighbours who called to our home and helped in any way, we appreciate your support. We also offer our heartfelt thanks to the many extended family, friends, neighbours, and well-wishers who attended the removal, Funeral Mass, and burial. Many travelled long distances to be with us for which we are truly grateful. Thanks to all those who phoned, sent Mass cards, floral tributes, and messages of condolences. The outpouring of love for Liam was a huge testament to how many lives he touched and was a great source of comfort to our family.

Our heartfelt thanks to Offaly GAA for their proud guard of honour at the Funeral Mass. This was a fitting tribute and very much appreciated. Thanks also to the broader GAA community for their many tributes recognising Liam’s contributions to many county and club teams.

Our sincere thanks to St. Senan’s Church Parish Priest Fr. Pat Mulcahy as well as Fr. Tom Carroll and Fr. Thomas Lanigan-Ryan for a lovely Mass, to family and friends who participated in the Mass, and to Joan Cunneen for her beautiful singing.

A special word of thanks to An Garda Síochána for their proud guard of honour on Liam’s journey to his final resting place. This was a great honour.

To all those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
