Maggie’s sons & daughters; Anntoinette, Deirdre, Lorraine, Peter, John & all her extended family would like to express our most sincere thanks for the countless messages of sympathy & support we received at the time of Maggie’s sad passing & in the weeks since.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Maggie’s funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes & those who stood out to pay their respects as Maggie made her final journey past the home she loved. Equal thanks to those who could not be present but took the time to phone, write, text or post kind messages of sympathy & to share happy memories.

Thank you to Maggie’s friends from the Active Retirement & her many craft classes, to her cherished lifelong friends & to most especially to her neighbour & dearest friend Lolly.

Special thanks to Dr Foster & his team at Harbour Road Surgery & to the wonderful doctors, nurses & staff of St Vincent’s University Hospital who brought such care & kindness to Maggie, & to us all throughout her final days.

Warmest thanks to Fr David Brough for his comforting prayers & guidance & for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Barbara & Carol-Anne Duffy & Matt Sharpe for their wonderful music.

Thank you also to Ned, Frances, Niamh & all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism & kindness & to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave.

Maggie’s Month’s Mind Mass, together with the 20th anniversary Mass of her husband John-Joe & the 3rd anniversary Mass of her son Michael will be celebrated on Saturday 19th June at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
