We, Marie’s husband Pat, her children Cynthia, Trish and Stuart and our families would like to express our sincerest thanks for the many ways in which we were supported and comforted through our recent loss.

We gratefully appreciate all those who visited our home, attended Marie’s funeral Mass and cremation service, sent Mass cards, texts and condolences; those who shared warm wishes and happy memories; all those who couldn’t be present but joined us via the webcam; and those who donated generously to Arklow Cancer Support.

We would like to express special thanks to the Arklow First Responders, the Ambulance Service and Drs. Buggle and McCabe and the staff of Sheltonville Surgery for caring for Marie. Thank you Garda Linda Butler and Garda Colm Ryan for the care and compassion given to our family.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Michael Flood and Patricia Kavanagh for the beautiful music.

Thanks also to the Hoey Family and the staff of the Bridge Hotel for their hospitality and kindness.

Also a huge thank you to Helena and the staff of Hudson Funeral Directors for their professionalism and understanding at the time of our immense loss.

To our extended families, friends, neighbours and colleagues, your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Marie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 12th February, at 11:30 a.m. in The Church of Saints Mary and Peter, and those who cannot attend are welcome to join via Arklow Parish Webcam.
