Martha’s daughters Maureen & Martha and their families wish to extend their most sincere gratitude for the many expressions of sympathy and support they received throughout Mam’s sad passing and during the time since.  

Heartfelt thanks to those who visited the funeral home, those who gathered for the celebration of Mam’s life and her burial, either in person or via livestream, those who sent Mass cards and floral tributes, to those who shared beautiful memories of Mam online and most especially those who travelled long distances to be with us.

Thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin & Fr David Brough for their prayers and guidance.

Our eternal gratitude to Dr Paul Doyle, Dr. Nick Buggle, Dr. Siobhan McCabe and their staff at Sheltonville Surgery and to the staff of Ferrybank Careplus Pharmacy.

A very sincere thank you to Deirdre, Valerie and all the palliative care team and to Nurse Mary Kinsella for her kindness during our very sad time.

Thank you to Emily-Kate, Melissa & Geraldine for reading so beautifully at Mam’s celebration, to Brendan for his graveside prayers and to Marie, Seán & Dee for their wonderful support. Thank you to our very kind neighbours & friends both in Arklow & from the countryside, to Mam’s sister Sarah, her cousin Mary in Wales and all her cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great greatgrandchildren, relatives and many dear friends.

Thanks also to Jim & May and their staff at the Bridge Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe O’Toole for tending to the grave, and to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors, especially to Niamh for all your kindness and help. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.   

Mam’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12th June at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church and those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
