Who passed away suddenly from this life on Thursday 28th December 2023,
surrounded by her loving family,
in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital Galway.
Mary’s husband Tom, sons Des, Eamon and Brian, daughters-in-law Fionnuala and Kristel and Brian’s partner Chloe, grandchildren Megan, Alex and Ryan, her sister Nene and brothers Paddy, Vincent and John, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and extended family wish to sincerely thank all who called to the house, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and left messages of condolence on RIP. Your kind and sincere offerings gave us great comfort at this difficult time.
We appreciate all those who attended Mary’s Reposal & Funeral Mass and to relatives and friends who travelled long distances to be with us.
Thank you to our wonderful friends & neighbours who worked tirelessly behind the scenes providing refreshments, cooking, baking, and assisting in any way possible.
We will be forever grateful for your support.
We would like to sincerely thank Fr. Iomar Daniels for celebrating Mary’s life in a most beautiful Requiem Mass.
Thanks to the Leitrim Choir for providing beautiful music and singing during Mary’s funeral Mass.
A sincere thanks to the gravediggers for the careful attention given to preparing Mary’s final resting place, our heartfelt gratitude always.
A special thanks to our neighbours & friends who managed the traffic situation with such professionalism and ease and to Noel Gardiner for providing a seamless shuttle bus service to the house.
Thanks also to the ambulance paramedics, doctors and nurses in UHG who looked after Mary in her final hours. We are so grateful for the care and attention shown to Mary.
Thank you to Justin Comer from Maggie Mays for the lovely meal following the funeral and to Brian Donnelly, The Hill Pub for facilitating the venue.

Mary’s Months Mind Mass will take place in St. Andrew’s Church, Leitrim
on Saturday, 27th January at 6:30p.m.
