The family of the late Mary (Mae) Gannon of Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon who died on 13/06/2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Palliative care team, we are truly grateful.
Our sincere thanks to all who helped to care for Mae allowing her to remain in her home and all those who were with her during her final days. Our sincere thanks to all those who fed and watered us and helped in any way. Thank you to all who participated in Mae's funeral, both removal and Mass. We were very moved by the guard of honor arranged by Castlerea Musical Society for Mae and thank those involved. A special word of thanks to Jackie Kenny for her beautiful singing. Also, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Fr. John McManus and to Fr. Joe Glynn who concelebrated the mass. Our sincere thanks to Paul and Susan Gaynor for their professionalism and guidance at this difficult time.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
The Months Mind Mass for Mae will be held on Saturday, 20th July, at 8pm in St. Joseph Church, Castlerea. All welcome.
