The McGrath Family wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with us on the passing of our beloved Mother/Nana Mary. Thank you to all who travelled near and far to be with us at our Mother's/Nana's Reposing and Funeral and to our family, dear friends, neighbours and colleagues who supported us at that time and have continued to support us since. Your love and kindness has never gone unnoticed and is immensely appreciated. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, Flowers and messages of condolences.

Sincere thanks to Fr. Tony who celebrated our Mother's/Nana's Funeral Mass, Thank you to Josephine Dolan and Paul Gurney for your beautiful music and singing. 

A huge thank you to Martin Glennon, Funeral Undertaker and his staff for the professional manner, attention to detail and sincere kindness shown to us on carrying out our Mother's/Nana's Funeral arrangements. Thank you to the Longford Council men who formed guard of honor at the graveyard.

A special Thank you to the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing home and especially the Lissadell unit which was home to our Mother for four years.  Thank you for all for the wonderful care, support and friendship you gave our Mother/Nana and to us during her time in Laurel Lodge. We are eternally grateful for how content and happy she was in your care. Sincere thanks to those who donated to the Laurel Lodge comfort fund.

Thank you to Dr. Kevin Flanagan who cared for our Mother/Nana for years and to the staff in Mullingar hospital, Level 4 who cared for our mother for the last six weeks of her life.

A final word of thanks to Davy and staff in Take Two Restaurant for their kindness and hospitality after the Funeral. 


As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest  gratitude.

Our Mother's/Nana's 1st Anniversary Mass and our Father's Anniversary is on the 30th October 2024 at 10 am in St Mel's Cathedral.
