Mary Pears (nee Lavelle), Lackaghmore, Turloughmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Aughavale, Westport and London. Mary’s husband Sten, daughters Anne and Audrey, sons in law Terence and Peter, grandchildren and extended family would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised and supported them following the passing of Mary.

We would like to express our appreciation to all those who called to the house, attended removal or funeral Mass, especially all who travelled long distances. Our thanks to all who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, or telephoned.  To our extended family, neighbours and friends and colleagues from Digital, thank you so much.

Our deep appreciation to the teams at Galway University Hospital, Bons Secours Hospital, Galway Clinic and Galway Hospice who cared for Mary so well during her illness. Our appreciation to Doctor Andrew Murphy and staff at Turloughmore Health Centre and Lackagh Pharmacy for their help and advice at all times.

Our appreciation to Fr. John O’Gorman for his support and to Lackagh Choir for the beautiful music. Thanks to Kearney Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism, the gravediggers for the preparation of Mary’s final resting place, to the staff at Arches Hotel for their help with food and refreshments and all who helped during the days of the funeral.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere gratitude to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. 

Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place in The Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh, on Friday, 13th May, at 7.30pm.
