Acknowledgement & First Anniversary

Died 12th October 2019

As we lovingly remember MICHAEL today & always, his sons Anthony, Declan & Oliver, daughters Theresa & Angela, grandchildren, brother Pat, sister Mary and extended family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to all who sympathised with us. Our heartfelt thanks to all our family, wonderful neighbours, friends, relatives, work colleagues, everyone who brought refreshments and helped out in any way. We would like to thank all those who attended his rosary, removal, funeral Mass & burial. Our thanks to those who sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of condolences. We would also like to express a special thanks to the doctors, nurses & care staff of 3A CUH for their care and empathy for Michael in his final days, Dr Pat Kennedy and Carrigtwohill Pharmacy.

A special thanks to his carers Paula, Norah & Bernie, who always brightened his day.

Thanks to Fr Ted Sheehan, Glounthane, who officiated at the Funeral Mass & Burial. Thanks to those who provided music and hymns during the funeral Mass.

Thanks to O’Farrell’s Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism and also to the gravediggers. While it is difficult to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude to all. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass had been offered for your intentions.

1st Anniversary Mass for Michael will be celebrated on Monday, 12th October 2020, at 10am in The Sacred Heart Church, Glounthane, and will be live streamed, due to current regulations.
